TM: You guys are official reporters right?
API: We’re not official, but we’re not unofficial.
TM: Got ya.
TM: I was in awe, I was dumbstruck. There are a lot of accolades that one can have in this world but I can’t imagine anything quite this important, quite this flattering. I read the blog every day. This is probably the most important journalistic outlet on the internet. And when I found out you wanted to talk to me, all I thought was that A.Rational must have a lot of pull because I know "You So Crazy" and Raph probably aren’t all that interested.
TM: Yeah, I was pretty disappointed.
API: Along those lines, she had some concerns about her safety last week during the time of her interview, do you know anything about that?
TM: Well I do know Jennifer did get some threats. Frankly, I think what it really boils down to is that I do have a lot of adoring fans out there and many of them were expecting me to be the first feature.
It’ s sort of like the Hillary Clinton thing , no matter how much she stands up there and says “Get behind Obama, Get behind Obama,” people see through it . It was similar here too, people just did not believe I genuinely did not want to hurt Jennifer.

API: Is there any animosity maybe you did not want to admit to in the past?
TM: I can’t really answer that other than saying that all of my public statements have been not to hurt Jennifer and I’m not going to go into that any further.
API: So why do you think your fan base follows you so passionately?
TM: I have pretty much depleted my entire trust fund paying off these people for their adoration.
API: So the rumors on BlogSpot, that their passion was predominantly due to your chin hair, those were unfounded?
TM: Those were unfounded. You will notice in about a year as the money dwindles they will turn to someone else.
API: While we are on the subject of the beard, we were interested in knowing about your grooming habits. How do you get it to look so beautiful?
TM: It’s my honor to answer this question. When I first started working at the public defenders office I looked about 17. My first few jury trials, I felt like the jury would walk in and look at me funny like there is the defendant and there is his son, but where is the lawyer? So I sort of just decided to grow a beard.
API: What influenced your decision to leave the Public Defenders office and go into private practice?
TM: I think that being a public defender is probably the best job you can ever have. You hit a point when you’ve been at work for a few years and you’re still making $40,000 a year and all your friends are making significantly more to the point where you can’t eat dinner with them.
API: When you were born were you wearing a suit?
TM: It was a short suit; the pants were only short because I was small. I had on a pair of brown skin bucks and it was a sear suckered suit that came down to my knees.
API: What is your worst childhood memory?
TM: I think it was the time we were robbed and they kidnapped my brother.
API: Is that a true story?
TM: No.
API: Let’s try again.
TM: Well, I was about eight years old and I was with my aunt and my Grandmother’s sister in the supermarket. She was pushing me around in the shopping cart. A guy walked by and was talking to my aunt and said “Aw, that’s such a cute little girl.”
