API: Mrs. Johnston, or may we call you Jennifer? We hope you received our notification that you were to be the first featured guest on “A BlogSpot You Can Believe In” with a certain amount of excitement.
Ca
n you recount the experience a bit for us?
JJ: Please. Call me Jen. I’d have to describe the moment as one of jubilant ecstasy and bewilderment! I was both flattered and honored to be recognized by my favorite bloggers!
API: We know you’re supposed to never ask a lady her age, so can you tell us how old you aren’t?
JJ: Well, I’m NOT old enough to be your mother, but I’m also not young enough to navigate Facebook without issues...
API: Favorite album? Genre?
JJ: I enjoy a bizarre combination of genres, depending on my mood. For example, current faves and playlist highlights include Vampire Weekend,Atmosphere, The Darkness, Royksopp, Janelle Monae, and Flo Rida.
API: If you could speak one language, other than the ones you speak currently, what would it be?
JJ: I’m currently trying to teach myself Romanian. So I can commune with my husband’s Eastern European heritage. It’s no easy feat.
API: Through several internet tracking devices, we have heard that there is a strong possibility you may be the Blog’s top reader. What is it that makes the Blog so appealing to a young professional such as yourself?
JJ: You know that three o’clock slump? That time in the afternoon when your blood sugar has plummeted and you realize there are still a couple of hours left before you can even think of going anywhere? THAT’s when I log on to the Blogspot. It gives me a rush like nothing else quite can.
API: Enough about us, can you give us a brief synopsis of your life achievements prior to receiving this feature?
JJ: Everything up til this moment pales in comparison…
API: You’re obviously of very high standing with the API, but what would you say is one thing about you that people rarely notice/know?
JJ: Well, check this out.
API: Not to catch you completely off guard but do you have any questions you’ve been dying to ask API?
JJ: How ever do you manage to do it ‘ALL’?
API: Well Jen, we put our pants on one leg at time, just like everyone else. Last but not least, API has a very special request for you today, are you willing to hear us out?
JJ: Anything for API!
